On May 22, 2019, there was a long traffic jam on Everest. That caused a man called Gillian Lee to take not the safe way but the north side, Tebet route without an oxygen tank. He was leading to death.

7600m up the mountaineer started to cough constantly and his lips turned into a dark blue. He started to cough blood body lost air and started to shut down.

He was very lucky that he had two guides that pulled him into his tent. They still had to get this young climber down to base camp but for the meanwhile, the guides tucked him into a sleeping hot water bottle. They were using an oxygen tank to revive him again the two men decided it was time to take Gill down the maunga but first they had to make a sled out of sleeping bags. At 6,000m a group of Chinese rope fixers helped them with the rescue

When they ran out of snow they had to get a yak and strapped Gill to it. He said it was the worst ride he ever had in his whole life. Reaching base camp the sounds of a helicopter came from above gill was flown to Kathmandu hospital. His mother had to fly from Australia to Nepal getting to the hospital she was furious she called him selfish because he put other lives in danger.

His mother was so embarrassed that her own son would do something like that till this day we don't know if he will try attempted this again….
